I'm sorry to have to say it but you've over stepped the mark this time.
I've visited Scotland several times and have always been made most welcome. You are confusing a few self promoting Scottish politicians who are power obsessed with the general population of Scotland. The same situation is present in Wales. Don't tar everyone with the same brush.

To go back to the original question..... travel outwith your own local area is advised against other than for essential work...... if you are travelling for pest control or deer control measures it might be worth getting a letter of proof to say your services are required on the slight chance you are stopped by the police. Living near a main trunk route from Cairnryan makes me wonder how many "essential" trips there are and have been during the latest lockdown.... However there is great hope up here that even the Krankie one cannot ignore the improving situation and is likely to start reducing the level of restriction of movement sooner rather than later. This is because she and her advisors have finally realised how the economy is being hammered without the help of Rishi Sunak's billions and as there is an election coming up she will want to make it look as if the supreme leader (sic) has cured covid 19 and shown us unenlightened ones the way to the nirvana that is independence! That's if she hasn't been fired by then of course. Hopefully, we'll all be able to get out and about a bit more from April.........pleeeeaaassseeeee.........
