Wales - even if it's now not a grand slam this year (robbed at the finish), well done.
France - Beware next year! On the up.
Ireland - full of promise but need to improve a bit more.
Scotland - showing a little promise too, more work needed though.
Italy - Should they be in this competition?
England - WTF!

I think when the England players are playing regular games they will be better.
France while this was fantastic have a problem with pressure they continually under achieve
Italy probably should be in a second string competition but the other nations won’t allow the lower side to go down thus allowing proper competition
Ireland i cant get my head around they have some fantastic players but they are individuals
Scotland i really want to do well, lots of promise at the start but dont follow through. and the home of the best player John Jeffrey in my era.
Player of the tournament, the referee team Wales France. second to England France last week.
It shouldn’t be about the Referees!

One of the worst performance from England in many years. 5th in the table with a negative PD. Apart from one match against France they looked amateur. England has a problem in that it’s traditional players are not performing, the reason is easy they are not playing in the premiership and not getting exposure to top flight rugby. This could be predicted when Saracens were relegated. I regularly watch championship rugby with the pirates and also go to see chiefs in Exeter and the games are very different. Playing in the championship will never prepare you for international rugby.
Eddy Jones has a problem now. It’s 2.5 years to the next World Cup and his team as it stands hasn’t a scoobies. There are in the premiership at the moment some players who would run rings around the present English squad and should be playing in the white shirt. Eddy has put his faith in his old squad and they have not delivered time for a change either an injection of new blood on the pitch or in the stand. Problem is that we don’t have many matches to rebuild. The next will be the autumn internationals then next years six nations. Personally I think Eddy missed a trick against Ireland, the championship was lost and he could have experimented.
That said the six nations is set up for an exciting finish. Yesterday’s match was one of the best I’ve seen for a long time and it’s all to be decided next week. Well played Wales and France.

Maybe we should just swap the the English cricket team across to play rugby and vice versa.

They couldn't do any worse than each other at the moment!
