Zeiss asv turret

I’ve got the V6 with ASV and it’s a faultless piece of kit, glass and illuminated reticule is top drawer

I've got ASV+ Long Range on my V8 and i have never used it. After reading your comments i've started to think that i am missing out a good feature.

I should look at the manuals to find out how to use it.

first time i have used it properly myself the weekend .and it is a good feature ,you just got to try it out first on some targets ,at different ranges ,was shooting out to 375 mtrs after a few hours .does give you more confidence in your gear .

Anything 200m plus I dial these days it does give you confidence the bullet will go where you want it to. Provided you can read the windage on the longer shots

Use it on my V8, standard ring options are very accurate to most of my loads, if ever you weren't satisfied you can have a custom ring printed for your given load and atmospherics

For target / varmenting they are obviously of limited capability especially at longer ranges.

For stalking and especially on the guest / estate rifle I think they are fantastic, nice and simple (in daylight) for a guest to paint by numbers so to speak
