I need a dog box for the back of my pickup, there is a back box on there and I am after a strong and safe box for the pup while in transit and to prevent theft, any suggestions?

I picked up this lintran off faceache for sub £200. Brilliant fit. We have 2 spaniels and currently one lab but will be keeping a pup from her current litter, plenty of room for all and locking etc, plus light enough to easily pull out when I want the back of the truck for other things.

Another vote for trans k9, I have 2 one in my own truck and one in my works, excellent really well built and the doors have 2x proper locks on each, will post a pic tomorrow when it stops raining.
check there website out and find which model codes fit your truck i found one secondhand on Facebook like new with a good saving but they do have a few on their site secondhand.
but too be honest even full price they are worth it for the security of my dogs

1. I an accident they don't shatter like a Lintran
2. They have a rear escape hatch
3. They have 4 security locks
4. No sharp edges

Agree. Although the escape hatch is useless in my Hilux as it’s up against the rear bulkhead

I picked up an older transk9 from the advertisements on the transk9 site. 8-9 yrs old but you wouldn’t know it. No keys for the locks and it’s not the exact one
For a hilux but anything fits in the back of those. Good way of getting one at a reduced price.

Another vote for Transk9. They are quality and are the best on the market. If there's any drawback, it's their price. But you do get what you pay for.

Thanks, will have a look. Couldn't see any numbers on the locks before but a bit of a cursory look on hands and knees in the back of the truck is probably not up to standard!Another vote for Transk9. Have you experience of a Lintran shattering?
I have a transk9 in a hilux. They do take up a lot of room. Had to trim a plaster bath edges for it to fit. The escape hatch is pointless in a hilux.
The other downside is you have to get to the rear of it too take out the divider or put it in.
But they are built well. My friend had an early green one and it was years and years old. They are a buy once and change due to a vehicle swap item.
I would buy another though. They are heavy too.

They are. The double one for my Discovery is a two person job to get in or out really. Partly due to it's weight but also it's size/shape. Fills the boot. But that's reassuring.
