Several comments on the vaccines

1) the Covid vaccines, in particular the Oxford Astra Zaneca one are built on a vaccine platform that are used other coronavirus such as flu etc and have been used for many years. Hence their rapid development

2) there is a good undertaking of long term effects of the platform, but not of the particular effects of COVID-19 vaccines. We won’t know if there are long term side effects until a few years time

3) there are definitely short term side effects to the vaccines and many (self included) do feel pretty awful for several days afterwards. And a very few suffer fatal side effects.

4) there does seem to be a clear link between higher rates of vaccination and much lower rates of hospital admission and deaths compared to pre vaccine. How long this lasts is anybody’s guess. I certainly don’t think the politicians should be dictating here.

5) the best prevention of lots of infectious respiratory disease is plenty of fresh air to dilute virus concentrations. Same applies to COVID-19. We need to take a serious look at how we all treat our offices, schools, public places etc. The “normal” room temp of 20 degrees C is far too high. 15 degrees is more than adequate, keep windows open and put on a jumper if you are cold.

Modern air conditioned trains, planes, buses, offices etc are perfect virus havens.

6) and its up to each individual to manage their approach to the disease in the long term. If you don’t want to catch it - don’t go to a night club or crowded bar.

7) and if a mask is still necessary- well should you really be in that environment?

I have refrained from comment thus far but I will say that I will never permit anyone to inject me with a DNA altering substance that will reduce my immune systems' ability to fight off disease , will not cure this flu , will not prevent me getting it and will almost certainly aid the spread of a disease that is 99% survivable ! Comments from the already vaxxed victims will be ignored.
 
Maybe some of our recent commentators would prefer us with open minds NOT to do do our research; I’d sure not like to be our fella‘s postie (or his dog) when the results from the Mensa application came back…

I've been in bed since Sunday morning when covid came calling!
I'm a double jabbed 50 year old with no underlying health issues.
I don't think anyone should force their opinion of the vaccine(either way) on anyone else. All I will say is I'm bloody glad I had my jabs, because this ain't nice!

But the thing is u never actually know wether u would be any worse or any better without the vaccine.

Even before the vaccine plenty of folk had syptoms like urs but after a few days/week came right again, while others are right bad with it.
Possibly after this winter death rates may start to fall purely because the virus has already taken those that are most vulnerable to it and even elderly or folk with underlying health issues for some reason have a slightly better immunity to it naturally.
1st time throu any brand new virus will wreek havoc, just like back in the day the common cold killed many indigenous tribes the 1st time throu

I think like many things in life ur either succeptable to this virus or not, just like cancer or any other horrible disease, we all know folk who smoke and drank all there life but seem unstoppable while others lead a very fit and healthy life and get struck down with a disease u wouldn't expect them too.

U really can't predict wot will happen vaccine or not
 
Quite right! You can not predict anything with this virus. My wife's 94 year old gran had it 6 months back and breezed through it without a care in the world😂
