I heard of it’s fate a few days ago so I should have updated the thread.
It had been shot, the vet who looked at it confirmed his first thoughts with X-ray. Initially they thought they could save it, but after the X-ray it was clear the wing was badly broken and nothing much could be done
I wish we (homo sapiens) could be x-rayed so quickly LOL
I expect you could be, if you went to the vet. Not on the NHS though.

i wish we didnt cause animals to xrayed because of our stupid selfish attitudes
Things are not always what they seem, people can and do manipulate for there own agenda, this is probably why we find ourselves in the Dung pile, viva la social media!

ok maybe the op lied and the vet lied and no buzzard was ever harmed. im not doubting some stories are full of lies and misdirection, but assuming the op is telling the truth(which i dont doubt) a buzzard was injured, if the vet had said looks like its was shot by a gamekeeper i would have been skeptical, but again assuming the truth an xray showed it had been shot, presumably shot gun pellets. i have no doubt some numpty thought the buzzard was in the wrong show had a pop, stupid enough but to then not try and dispatch it to end suffering, complete numpty.

I find it strange that folk will not accept that idiots still shoot at birds of prey im a shooter my friend who is an avid falconer /bop rescue and rehabilitation shoots and we both have seen enough hardcore 1st hand evidence of bops brought to vets with injuries proven to be shotgun pellets !
Now i refuse to believe that there is a group of anti shooters going around lightly peppering bops with shotguns in the hope that they will make their way into the 'social media news feed ' just to discredit legitimate shooting enthusiasts !

I don't doubt the word of the OP.
I certainly don't accept that every report of persecution of birds of prey is accurate, though.
I don't trust all vets, same way I don't trust all lawyers, doctors, cops or mechanics. Some are liars with their own agenda, that's human nature.
