Wanted: Small Polecat type Jill ferrets

I know its the wrong time of year to be asking for ferrets, looking for two small polecat type Jill ferrets, my grandson is wanting to start ferreting for himself and getting some gear around him, he is experienced and has been out with me regularly until my last lot passed over from old age

Anyone got a couple of decent ferrets they can spare i can buy, I’m in the process of making them a decent hutch / run and they will be very well looked after and worked that I can guarantee

2 hrs drive from kent would be fine

I don’t have any to spare but will be looking to breed out of my group the coming spring. Obviously you would miss this winter season though. If you don’t mind paying £50-60 for a speyed or neutered ferret, I can highly recommend Wendy at the Essex ferret welfare society she will have over 20 ferrets looking for a home. Obviously some people wouldn’t want to pay that for a ferret but all of the proceeds go towards looking after the ferrets that they take in. They are country people also as opposed to some of the ferret charities around that don’t realise what ferrets are capable of!

I can help you with hobs now but not Jills until the Spring. I have a hob that is half wild polecat and they get worked for a living so know their job
