This virus and all it's mutations are now endemic, one will come along that is more virulent, more deadly, yada yada. New restrictions imposed, soon passports and manditory vaccinations etc all for naught. Restrictions didn't work with the original strain and it sure as hell isn't going to work now. This is just a way that nature is going to cull humans back into line, and there's nothing we can do about it. For the best too, 7 billion is too many.

When I return to the UK on Tuesday I will go home, then drive myself to a private clinic and have the test there, probably shell out the £225 they want for the express PCR test. Get the results that evening possibly next morning so it is worth the extra expenditur. Then freedom.

would explain a lot.There are 200 different variants of the common cold. It is the nature of viruses to become more infectious and less lethal as they mutate. That would appear to be the case with this latest variant. If it was the other way round and the virus was becoming less transmissible but more deadly, eventually it would die out along with its quarantined victims.

I'm already eighteen quid down, the LFT I had to purchase for my return is now defunct / not acceptable, wonder how much the PCR 's will have escalated to when I get back home, (If allowed back home that is)
