Vascomised hob ferret

Bit of a long shot but I've got a few questions. Wondering how much it costs to vascomise a hob and the other option do any of you have one already done that you would part with and is there any way if I were to find one to get it taken to northern Ireland as I know the dogs are easy enough so just wondering as it's impossible to find one here

I had one done years ago only problem was that I ended up with a nest of kit as it didn't work.
The vet had a second go and that worked.

Haha don't tell me that I'm looking one to take mine out of Season and impossible to find a local vet or do it so looking to but a hob snipped and all or a lend of one if there were any local to me

I'm not even going to ask about this but merely hope someone on here can point me in the direction of someone who has a hob the would part with or one the old get snipped and let me have I'd pay for the op etc of coarse

I’m sure he claimed it made her “think” she’d been mated and brought her out of season that way, at least that was the excuse used!

The last one I had done was £75.00 as he was born with a foot turned out so could get around but it would not have been a working ferret. A very kind animal who spent his time taking jills out of season running around the shed chatting to me as I put stuff away, rolling in a pile of rabbits from the day ferreting. (as they do) for many years.
Lost him the same week Dad died so not a great week. But worth it as lots of kits are a pain when you have working stock.

We were taught (at vet school) that you could stimulate Jill’s with a paintbrush to make her think she had been mated to get her out of persistent oestrus. A cotton bud may work too but the exact technique necessary is beyond my knowledge 🤣

For crying out loud! I have only just “unthought” last night’s mental picture only to now have it implanted in my brain again!
