Trousers that fit!

Hi all,
In the market for a pair of trousers for stalking. Hard wearing (for crawling), waterproof, light weight, a high back and plenty of room in the crotch area for lifting legs over fences etc.
I have recently tried swedteam, comfy, warm but no room whatsoever in crotch, couldn't even jump a stream.
Then tried, shooterking flex ones, too long in the leg (and im not a short guy) and too short on the back (every time I bent down my shirt came out the top of my trousers).
Has anyone found any trousers with the qualities im looking for.
My other option is to get another pair of fortis, as they were made to measure, but sometimes you just want to try different stuff!

Another vote for Fjallraven. Not waterproof but can be treated to resist water on knees, gaiter area and backside. Very comfy and quick drying

Alot of my stalking is crawling through grass n heather which when wet, soon gets you soaked, looking for a trouser that helps keep that to a minimum.

If you want fully water proof I believe the pro Brenners is what I have - use them in Scotland when it is bucketing down or on the hinds. But too warm for me for normal stalking. As MJ pointed out, viddas are quick drying if you can live with that.

I guess Harkila are out of the question? They do tend to be too long and aren't really alterable because of the stuff at the bottom of the legs, but that apart they are waterproof (assuming you get the Goretex models) and robust, and, at least for me, have enough room in the undercarriage department, so might fit the bill. Speaking of bills though, they do cost the same as a small banana republic. But if they last...

Interested in this thread, totally agree with Swedteam, I found them in the leg to be a skinny fit at best & I am far from fitting a skinny fit. 🤣 Currently getting on ok with Shooterking Huntflex very long in the leg though. Following with interest.

Blaser huntec charger.... Best trousers I've had yet!.... so comfy and stretchy in all the right places..get a size larger than normal for best comfort.
