Round to Square..!

This job was spoken about in the early spring which would have been a tad cooler than these last 2 days!

For anyone who is not sure what it is, a "grain pusher" which does what it says on the tin, push grain as the grain buildings are very tall so to make use of the height the grain is piled up as high as they can.

The square frame one has the right fittings but the scoop part design was poor, so a bit of surgery converting the yellow scoop in round tube to fit the box section.

Look hard enough in the metal pile and you will find what you need, a piece of 150 box just the right length. Chop off the bit I needed,
burn some holes for the tube to slide through the box weld those parts together, chop off the other part, weld and plate...

Harry was servicing the combine as harvest is looming while dropping back to help me move parts around as needed...

With the amount of land he has he will need that beast of a pusher! i'v seen the amount of Barley he has in the ground :eek:, Well done feller it should make his job faster and a cleaner looking pile when the grain hits the barns ,

Ta Paul, we should sit out the back of that barn as the flt line is right over it...Deck chairs and a Rossi..
