Leica binoculars - spare parts

Morning all,
I have some old Leica Trinovids and the tab on the front, which reads 10x42 BN, has fallen off and is now lost.
Does anyone know where I might be able to pick up a replacement? I have written to Leica UK but it has been quite a while now and I haven't heard anything from them.
Any help much appreciated.
All the best,

Have you got a Leica store nearby? I had mine refurbed under warranty FOC through the shop - very helpful even though they specialised in cameras and binos rather than the hunting side of things.

Sadly not, the closest I can get to a decent optics supplier locally is a Clifton Cameras.

I phoned Leica in London and received the parts I was looking for free and delivered the same week couldn’t fault their service

I went into Leica in Mayfair with a pair of old binos I’d bought on eBay. Serviced , re collimated and refurbished for free!
Did they have to send them to Europe? I spoke with them via email regarding a bino range finder issue, they said send them in and they will send them to Europe where they will assess and advise cost.. sceptical about sending them in case it is too expensive.. I've seen plenty people saying it was all free but seems I won't know until they are there ? Was that how they dealt with you ?

No, I walked into the shop and left them the binos. A week later picked them up. I presumed they’d been done in house in UK, but who knows, but no charge at all!

If the binoculars are rangefinders, they would be sent away as you need the correct calibrated machines for testing the laser. If its just a aesthetic clean then it may be possible to do it locally. if there is a cost involved, you will normally be informed prior to work being carried out.
