First Roe Buck of the season.

I went for a sit in my high seat yesterday evening just to see what was about. Whilst sitting there I spied a doe walking across the field towards the woods. I sat for a while hoping she may reveal herself in the clearing but to no avail so decided to go for a walk along the track where the doe had entered the wood.
By this time it was starting to get dusk (8.30pm). Decided to walk back along the track towards my Jimmy. When I got 100yds from my Jimmy, which was at the end of the wood, this young lad was in the adjacent field. He wandered off so I decided to try and stalk after him.
I managed to catch sight of him, ranged him at 120yds, took aim and shot taken using my viper flex sticks for support. I dragged him back to the Jimmy where I performed a suspended gralloch.

Not sure the size. I have had about 4 years got it off Ebay it came out of a restaurant cost me £50. I have a big ish fallow in it. Hope that helps. The make is Vestfrost it has a clear glass door. Hope that helps
