For Sale: Steyr Scout .308

Due to an upgrade, I am selling my Steyr Scout in 308. This has been a wonderfully accurate gun for the three years of light use I have given it. Its lightweight and short overall length have made it a very useful gun, especially when walking or in a vehicle. These rifles have wonderful review and are well worth every penny due to the use of high quality materials throughout the gun. It is a very solid study rifle.

Price: £1099 including mod, Nikko Stirling diamond 3-12x56 illuminated reticle and hard case

Features

- Two polymer magazines: one in the stock for ease of reload

- 5 points of contact for sling attachment

- Integrated bipod: great for jumping out of the truck and quickly setting up on the bonnet

- Bottom rail for additional bipod attachment if desired

- Fluted barrel

- 3 position safety that includes bolt lock

I have them as they came with it but having not had to buy any, I don't I'm afraid.

I would agree, it's been pin point accurate and so useful on all deer, fox and boar. Only selling for an upgrade to a R8

I have three Scouts. On my .308 and .243 I have fairly standard 2-point slings. On my .243 I use the Ching 3-point sling that originally came with the .308 Jeff Cooper package.

Your .308 Scout is about 500 later than mine but still one of the first run with the Jeff Cooper decals on the stock. Great rifle - I have the 2.5mag Scout Scope on the .308 with the rifle serial number engraved on the mounts!
