Seal clubbing, is that similar to club 18 - 30 without the alcohol and Rohypnol ?

Certainly work up an appetite, probably need a caddy with various clubs and definitely plastic handles as not to loose grip with all that claret about. Seriously though think the baby seals in the white would be hard work and take some chasing about pre tapping

It was always a shame when our friends in the EU decided that we could no longer use Seal skin for sporran making..... very robust they are too. And the ever increasing numbers of seals around our coasts could do with thinning out a wee bit!
Still, if I need a replacement, I could always use something ethically sourced like badger or fox!

There would be plenty of takers on the north east coast, would have to be free though, but perhaps prizes given for most clubbed in a hour or club of the day, that sort of thing, maybe become competitive with major channels showing interest. Clubbing on ice!

Agreed, I have had the dubious pleasure of eating a number of things, the worse by far was Hakarl,[femented shark] followed closely by kiviak [femented puffin/little auk], igonaq [femented walruss] then a big gap and you get to walruss and whale blubber, whale and seal meat etc. only good thing that comes from seals is the skin, perfect for jesses and creance.

I spent time in the Arctic and ate a lot of seal , whale and walrus . It's OK , but I don't miss it . I didn't mind Muktuk , whale blubber , but it can have explosive effects if over indulged ................ trust me .
