I remember buying primers for £11 per thousand back in the late 70's early 80's. The outcry from reloaders when the price went up to £12 per thousand was unbelievable.- can’t ever remember being able to buy primers at the equivalent of that price.

I can't see how. Someone holding a stockpile of anything has no effect at all on supply except to create a pressure to increase it.No offence but isn’t it this sort of stockpiling across the USA that is causing the difficulties with supply this side of the Atlantic??
Come on UK Primers!
In a free market situation. Here we have a market situation which is so restrictive as to even prevent credible national defence, let alone supply to the actual market.I cannot get my head around demand not starting to influence supply.
If there is a market, usually somebody fills it.
Come on UK Primers!
Kvb-7 by Murom seem very close to me but they won’t be coming in again because they’re Russian!I have just enquired regarding purchasing some cci 200 large primers answer was these won't be in stock until mid-next year at the earliest,

Good news! I could use another 10k small rifle primers.By the by, Fiocchi just announced they are building a new primer plant in the US. Little Rock, Arkansas. No date announced for when they expect to be in full production.
This makes two more primer companies (Lone Star being the other) starting production in the US this year.
