Can you get your trained hunter status with out doing your dsc1 and dsc2 to be able to sell to a game dealer?

And if you then decide to take the DSC you shouldn't have to take the GMH part again. However not sure how it works now as its moved to L2.
Pretty sure you still have to take it as it is one of the assessments that form the dsc1 irrespective of the fact that it no longer gets you the trained hunter ticket.

Now the next question is has dmq shot them self's in the foot because I have been ask this question by multiple people because they want the number without doing level one and two.

I bet the uptake on NGO and Lantra courses has increased massively since the goalposts were moved. I think in the past these were a really small part of the system, basically a few diehard NGO supporters, but now people can see a real benefit to doing it this way.

But without doing 1 & 2 you are not a 'trained' hunter .... isn't that like saying you don't want to do the practical just the theory and get a driving licence ?

Just the way it is. You take the NGA day course and get your Trained Hunter number.
Suet’s some but if you have no experience then better to do the DMQ 1 and 2.
