R.I.P the foxpro fury 🙏

I had to Google what that was. ÂŁ300 for a caller??
Doesn’t a grass blade work anymore?
You must have a big investment in lambs or chickens to justify that
Good luck

The jury is still out on the lure, to be more precise the light on it, I’m not too sure it’s for me, I’m going to have a crack with using the lure without the light at dusk and on a bright moonlit night and see how it goes.

They are worth it just to set one up deep in the woods adjacent our annual Halloween trail for the kiddies. Everything on mine from lion roaring, wolves howling and woodpeckers screeching.

Gets the poor wee things every time!

The added benefit of using a remote caller is you have the ability to draw the fox out into the open to an area that's a safer shot or away from your position. Mouth calls whether back of hand or manufactured are fine if they work for you, but a bugger when you get Charlie creep up behind you.

I can put the caller 100yds into the middle of a field and in safe area, I can’t throw the sound from a mouth call that far .

But that did/does add a certain something to proceedings. Even more so when you’ve been in the woods for a few days and are starting to get that sixth sense (mindfulness or oneness with nature if you read any outdoor themed book review these days) and a shiver runs through you as you hear the slip of soft earth behind you just before ol’ stinky fur gives it leg bail into the next County!
