Guntrader Website Update

I’ve just gone on there to check on a add I’ve got on there as I was trying to reduce the price (which the old site wouldn’t let me do) and it seems they’ve reverted back to the old site 🎉

Hey boys, Guntrader has reverted back to their older format...the good one in my opinion!
Other new one was a faff I thought. :)

I wrote to them about the new site...

Hi Katie,

The site just seems a mess, put together by someone with no knowledge of firearms.

We in the UK are slaves to the present system which means we are looking at calibre first as this is the metric we have been given by the police, so that would normally be our first search criteria when looking for rifles.

This brings us to the first real issue. The calibres used to be listed in size/chronological order, now it looks to be in number of rifles available, which is no good to anyone other than a statistics nerd. To compound this, it seems advertisers have been given free text so variations on the same calibre are listed.

Before I could click on gun search then rifle then bolt action then calibre. After this I would be presented with a list of exactly what I was searching for. Now just getting to the first stage is a trial.

Received this today...
