Loading deer in to drinks chiller

has anyone made a system similar to the Landing one, with an extension pole and spigot to fix to the pole end in the fridge?
if so what size tube did you use (diameter and thickness?)
currently i have a similar thing with bits i had lying around, but it is box section with a round spigot and the box rotates and the S hook then catches.... fancy improving on it and dont want to buy the wrong size tube :)
thanks in advance

Put a tape on the tube in the chiller would be a start, when I skin big deer previously I put a prop under the roof joist as a temporary support. Know I used an acrow prop from the wall plate to a main joist/support, welded a hook for the hand winch just right.
It is best to add pictures then people who have a system spend less time guessing.

I would say your tube will be 34 or 50mm

I used 38.1mm x 2mm but could easily have gone smaller diameter. Big fallow buck no problem, I couldn’t fit a red in my chiller but am sure it would be fine with red deer too.

I still have the three rail Landig rail system available as I bought a Landig after my used chiller issue and Woodsy decided to go in a different direction. Let me know if you might be interested in it.

A recent change to my chiller arrangement having seen @Woodsys arrangements. The second hoist on the sliding trolley works well and provides the support for the rail extension which slots over the chiller rail so the hanging trolley can slide in/out :tiphat:

I thought I had a picture with the external rail slotted onto the chiller stub rails - not so. I’ll take one tonight when I get a fallow out to skin. It’s a short rail that hangs off the chain from a trolley in the roof sliding rail at one end, and it has an overlap joint at the other that slots over the short rail in the chiller. I lift the carcass using the hoist with one of @tim243’s hooks, lower it onto the chiller rail trolley with the external rail slotted on outside the chiller, then slide the carcass in, refit the end clip and close the door. No more struggling with a heavy beast on your own. I have left my old cross rail in as that does well for roe and muntjac but this rail system is great - galvanised sliding door hanging kit.

The guy on here aka lion George has designed a very good method of loading deer in to a chiller. I have a video but it's not my design to put on here but I can say it's a very good design. I said he should go into production because it's such a good design.

As promised, some pictures of my rail mods in action - many thanks @Tim.243 👍
