She who must be obeyed and myself have invested in a Ninja Foodi max. With two drawers to "air fry" all sorts of things. It does seem quite good although it's yet another thing to clutter up the kitchen worktops. They're all the rage, don't you know.
Anyway, one of the settings is "dehydrate", which over a number of hours allows you to dry such diverse things as beef, chicken and salmon, with or without them being marinated before, thus in effect making jerky. And also such things as bananas, apples and all sorts of other fruits.
I've put some apple slices in to try it out. Takes 7-8 hours. Just wondered if anyone has delved into this and what results may be had.
