Hi Lads and ladies of SD. I’ve been a member here now for a good few years but over the past couple of years I have turned my hand to Knifemaking. What started out as a means to distract myself and an extension of my existing hobbies (shooting/fishing) has turned into something of an obsession.

I’ve been a butcher for circa 30yrs and have spent literally thousands of hours with knife in hand. Every knife I make is a genuine 1of a kind. No 2x are ever the same and I pride myself on my ability to build in the customers own personality.

I love making stalking knives but also turn my hand to kitchen, butchery, filleting and bushcraft knives. I prefer working in stainless steels but also work in Carbon steel and make handles from stabilised woods & modern resins.

There are some great knife-makers amongst the group here on SD. Many of whom have inspired me along the way. Knives are to me like food….beauty is subjective, tastes are personal preference & there’s always someone that prefers McDonalds to Michelin Star

Please see attached pics of some of my works. If you have a special build in mind please get in touch with me. Turn around is pretty sensible and most work is less than 1month from conception through to delivery.

I Will be offering free sharpening strops to any orders from SD members

Good luck, 30 years a butcher you know a thing or to from an end-user perspective. Couldn't help noticing the ABU Tormentor/Terminator............Bass lure angler I am guessing? Had a few myself on those.

Thank you Keith…and yes I’ve certainly put many a knife through it’s paces. I field test my knives 1st hand either in the field or on the block. I like to ensure everything is fit for purpose before sending them to new homes.

As for the lure bang on fella it is a terminator. Never seen water though and is fresh out the box with a price tag on it that doesn’t require a kidney sale That tells you I spend more time stalking than fishing but when I go I’m a travel light kinda guy that stalks the shallows with plug or minnow
