I sent my slc 7x42's back in March (I think) as the rubber housing was coming off. They cane back 4 weeks later, 3 lenses replaced although I con't know why because they have only ever been cleaned with camera cleaning products, the pull out eye pieces replaced for screw type, new one piece rubber and new lens covers. They were 15 years old and it cost a tenner postage!!!
I emailed them today because last night when out stalking one of the objective lenses also began to fog up. In the email I asked if there was any chance of borrowing a pair of demo's as I need them just now on an almost daily basis. 15mins after I sent it I had a reply saying that if I popped a covering note in with them asking for a pair and explaining why, they would dispatch a pair on loan by return post!!
In my opinion you just cannot get better service than that.
