A thousand years ago in another life: I was explaining that sometimes a patient presents with what was referred to as a "? foreign body".

I showed this very young, very bright, and very 'inexperienced' medical student this x-ray.

Sounds very much like a target rich environment for those of a predatory nature or she really wanted something more, much more.🤣

It disturbs me what you know 😳🤣
Well it got me thinking that if a little fellow attached itself with teeth whilst in upper extremities of tube how do they extract am guessing it’s the nibbling that’s required and would think not all survive the ordeal with some unwilling to go to ground and do battle so ram rod would encourage the more stubborn and once attached suction needed to remove and not without some “ripping”
Never tried myself but did once fall foul of a Henry type hoover been used by girl friend who dared me, very much not a good idea🤣 edit. Should add she was hoovering and found self helpless and attached to hoover tube by weaner, really bad idea😜

in interests of gerbil welfare think some training takes place using dry runs with food positioned at end of tubes of various lengths and light conditions prior to the main event and fully trained gerbals highly prized not unlike some birds of prey. Go careful out there.🤷‍♂️
