Sold: Howa 6.5 creedmoor

hendrix's rifle

I've decided to sell my creedmoor due to picking up a lightweight 7mm.

Howa 1500, trigger has been lightened with the gunbloke spring kit to around 2lb.
MDT XRS chassis with a 10 round magazine.
Stalon x108 mod I believe it is. Cracking mod for noise reduction and it's light weight.

Fired between 200-300 rounds, some factory (maybe 40) and the rest reloads. I have 2 loads worked for it, one using 130g sierra gamechangers and the other using yew tree 114g TLR. Both are accurate and both give half MOA without much fuss.

The paint won't be everyone's cup of tea but I never intended on selling! I wanted something slightly harder wearing than the blueing it had as a factory finish, they seem to have changed it... Owned from new by me since late 2020 and always cleaned before going in the cabinet.

I'm after £800 all in, I'll pay RFD fee my side if needed.
I will throw in any 6.5 bits I have. Hornady dies, brass, bullets (unsure how many I have left but there's probably half a box of gamechangers and a maybe 20-25 yew tree), ogive insert, shoulder bump gauge. I may even have some primers to go with.

There will be some federal factory ammo along with an unknown number of reloads with the gamechangers and yew tree ready to go (maybe 50 or so)
I also have the factory stock to go with it and bottom metal although not the drop box insert as that's in another howa.

I'd rather it be collected as then all ammo can go with it. I have powder left which I will give first dibs to the buyer at a massively discounted price, I can't use it in any of my other rifles so no point having it.

The picture of the target is the first 5 shots fired with factory federal ammo in the standard stock.
Any questions drop me a message,
Cheers

I'm extremely interested but haven't got a slot for 6.5. I'll be putting in for a variation on Tuesday to change my 223 Howa + Mod over for a 6.5 slot, but I absolutely appreciate that you can't hang onto it waiting for some bloke's variation to come through especially considering the way some firearms departments have gone (that said, someone on here got a Dyfed Powys variation done in 3 weeks not so long ago).

Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes. Just wanted you to be aware I was keen in case it's still hanging around once I'm in position.
I'm based in West Wales but would probably be able to drive over to Maccas or nearby after working at Bangor (which I do once or twice a month)

£550 takes it in the bell and Carlson stock with the alloy bedding block and the loading gear.

Unfortunately my wife's car needed some repairs so now it does need to go 🤦

I’m a few weeks late posting this but just wanted to give a glowing review of Hendrix’s Rifle and wasn’t sure where to put it.
I’ve got to say, what an incredibly decent fellah and stand up member of this community he has been through this sale. Apart from having the patience of a Saint with my variation process, he’s gone absolutely above and beyond to make sure I was going to be successful and have everything I need in my first UK fallow season. He spent hours of his time teaching me all sorts about the rifle, how he’s used it in the past, hand loading the perfect ammo based on my plans, and gave me all those tiny little bits of gear and reloading stuff that would otherwise cost tons to figure out and piece together yourself. I genuinely felt Hendrix cared more about me having a good experience then about offloading the rifle. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone! (Oh, and the rifle and all the gear are absolutely mint condition)

Sincerely,
One very happy bunny
