I’m really not sure…hence the question….apparently her name is Melanie though….

I didn't know fallow hybridise with any other species

Not sure, apparently it has Bukhara deer in it as well…and to be honest I’d never heard of those!

I have seen Bukharan deer up close as my in-laws live next to the Highland Wildlife Park and I take my binos on the morning dog walk up the hill. They look very like light coloured red deer so I'd be surprised if they hybridised with fallow but I'm no expert

Very unlikely to be a hybrid with any Cervus species. Fallow are a separate genus, and really quite distantly related.

Persian fallow?

Persian fallow can interbreed with European fallow, so if it is a fallow crossbred (as has been suggested earlier in the thread) then I think that's the only possible cross.

Whichever it is…it’s in Oman…so could be a mixture.
