To show how well they perform.

First on a Red calf shot at about 150m, dropped on spot (the chest spreeders slightly accentuate the exit hole):

I have a supply of these bullets for the forseeable future so the time taken to develop a load for your rifle won't be wasted. Let me know when you will likely need more and I will even put some aside for you.

The below photos are result of using LOS 308 bullet on young Roe doe at about 100m.

Again, size of exit wound is exaggerated by chest spreader.

I bought a couple of boxes of the 52 grain HT off daw and have had a quick play yesterday , using rs 40 and v120 I was quite encouraged by the accuracy without a lot of trying. Not tried them in anger but looking like a promising bullet , if we need to go go down the non toxic route for all our shooting.

I don't suppose you have any ballistics data do you? BC/multi BC and photo's of the bullets themselves?
Thanks

XXL Reloading and Gordons Reloading Tool both give the BC(G1) for .224 as 0.199 and .308 as 0.300.

Please PM me if you want any individual photos.

Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback.

Loaded some S&B cartridges with LOS 52gr HT and 24gr N133, COL 57.4mm.

Tested them for grouping at 100m with below result.

The top two were taking them to zero. I did drop down a click but didn't take a third shot as had only brought a few with me and decided to go stalking. Got three muntjac so good result.

Following is some feedback re the LOS .308 bullets, from a gent on SD who has kindly agreed that I can put it in this thread:

'Accuracy is very good. I find that the bullets through my rifle are around 1/3" moa at 100 yards, they're better than my lapua L bullets for target. I use n140, 41.7 gr. Cartridge length 2.008" and col, 2.776". Very accurate load, only issue is velocity drops off as this is the lowest possible powder usable but nothing I'll notice, as I'm unlikely shoot over 300-400 yards.

Effect is good, I've never had any issues. Tip seems to fragment on impact. Kills seem clean, often drops them on the spot.'

If anyone wants to try a smaller amount then simply divide and add £3 postage. So for 20 x .224 it will be (20/100 x £50) + £3 = £13.

My Maths teacher would be so proud of me! He wasn't at the time!!
