Cycling home from the pub one night I had one happily trotting alongside at a good 12+mph. Couldn't work out what the scraping sound coming from the bike was.. head torch on and there's Brock running alongside me to get to his next field.

It’s the one time a landy would be more reliable than the vehicle behind it!I like the way the poor old Ford Ranger gets the blame.
They struggle to outpace .25-06 100 grain.Since using thermal have learnt one or two things about them one been the speed and distance they can travel when out and about. Have a good vantage point where I will sit for a shot at a fox and can see a long way on arable and they can really shift with unbroken pace for many fields or out of view. If wind in favour get them within a few yards but if they get one touch of wind will stop sample wind (sniff) and leg it.

I’ve a full td5 90 exhaust in the shed if your able to pick up from north Herefordshire and it’s a td5 90 you’ve gotCouldn’t avoid the poor wee thing due to the Ford Ranger tailgating me. Thought all was well until I heard rattling and found Ol’ Brock had managed to do what 20-years of rust could not. Namely separate the rear pipe from the middle box!

Neer a one, I don’t tailgate or hog the road, I just tip on at a brisk pace.
Thats as brisk as I can be in a 23 year old D2.
So sad that I won’t even get a badger pelt seat cover out of this c£700 garage bill!

£700 for supply & fit an exhaust - they're pulling your plonker! Best you buy it online & fit yourself if it's just centre & back box.
Been under vehicle today and all yokes including the two-bolt front down pipe to middle box are shot. And when I say “shot” I mean the thickness has been reduced by more than 2/3rds by rust. The bolts are bonded to same and the application of a mini grinder simply pointed to total disintegration.
My days of playing with exhausts and much else are over although a ramp and workshop facilities 5-minutes from a certain Vauxhall HQ would certainly make the wider task more palatable!
