Just think of a KG as a scruffy GSP!!
I have a GWP too and he is also a real character - steals apples out of the fruit bowl!!

LOL those words will come back to haunt you, apparently black ones whine more than the brown ones. Try and get one bred for working under hawks considerably more patient

Really ??
Indiscriminate breeding has caused winging not a colour..
And regards hawk dogs the also don't "need" to have a soft mouth so it's often overlooked in a breed program from my experience.

Didn’t know there was such a thing

There are, and they’re worth contacting. A lot of good dogs end up in unsuitable places and are looking for new homes.
Ive seen some really nice pedigree animals on offer for no other reason than that they grew up into what they were supposed to be.
You could also contact your local HPR club, they can often help.

I know of a litter but they are up in Thurso so a long way off. Dam is a litter sister to my home-bred boy from my top Croatian/Italian line. Dam is a great all-rounder and is shot over and retrieves fox.
