Is anyone else having trouble in getting payments on time from Vicars Game since the new owners took over?
This is the second time in 2 months they have not made payment on the date they specified.

Allan Haywood was the owner. I think he may have retired and sold the business. Allan has always been a straight up guy.

I won’t elaborate, but you’re not the only one having issues with Vicars at the moment.
Hopefully once the new management structure beds in it will all settle down and come right.

Alan’s last day was two or three weeks ago.

As well as being a straight-up guy, Alan was a gentleman of the old school who loved the craft of butchery.

Alan retired at the end of September. Well, retired from Vicars having sold it to Yattendon Estate. He has not fully retired and is thankfully still involved in the deer industry. Never had any issues with Vicars prior to that, I count myself highly fortunate that Alan thought me to shoot many years ago.

The two delayed payments have been for park cull venison, so the sums involved are not small.
