In the near future I plan on do my dsc1 aswell as my game meat hygiene. I know when it comes to doing the DSC1 you get given a training manual but that’s not what I asking for.

As maximus suggested "The Complete Deer Stalker from field to larder" by Larry Fowles is an excellent book, one of the best I've read. (Larry is a site member.)
So too is "Practical Deer Management" by Charles Smith-Jones (another site member.)
I own or have read numerous stalking books but in my opinion those two really stand out for those getting started in stalking or even advancing their knowledge. A tremendous amount of information in both books.
Which reminds me, I loaned another book written by a well known "personality" to a guy who expressed an interest in stalking many months ago and he still hasn't returned it. I'm just glad that it wasn't my copy of one of those two books.

I would also advise watching every Chris Rogers (Shhoting and Country TV) Youtube video as, although this isn't training per se. Chris has a natural way of describing what he is doing that would bolster what you read in the books.
