Sold: Quad shooting sticks

If I may share my experience folks…. I’ve used Limilus sticks for circa 10yrs…best quad sticks out there IMHO

Like most stalkers occasionally I’ve allowed myself to be lured by the usual temptresses. I’ve tried many of the Aluminium & Carbon offerings. With Triggers, with yokes, with built in whistles (no bells though)

I always come back to these sticks. Anthony is a true gent to deal with and his aftercare is top notch.

His sticks are the most ergonomic in hand carry of the lot. Warm in hand & if knocked on approach make a very natural sound that doesn’t appear to spook quarry like other materials. I regularly use them closed as a wading staff when on boggy ground. Closed they are strong enough to bridge a yoke in a branch to perform suspended gralloch son Roe and even modest sized fallow.

The stability is superior to just about everything else I’ve tried and my foxing ranges have increased dramatically as a result. I have such confidence in the platform I know I can take clean an ethical kill shots beyond my former expectations.

I wouldn’t hesitate in dealing with Limilus or using his quad sticks again & again 👍

Quad shooting sticks made to order.

I need to know your height and 'handness' (lefty or righty).

Softwood £65 delivered (extra for Highlands and Islands etc)
Hardwood (Ash) £85 delivered (extra for Highlands and Islands etc)

As seen in the Shooting Times and shooting sports magazines

And the kelso deerstalking fair video:

And Gregors shooting from them video:

And how to open them!

Some notes for owners..

the elastics in the middle are, in almost all cases, too long for your stock.
this is intentional as I have to account for different stock lengths.
just shorten the length appropriate to your rifle with a couple of new knots. I find about a 2" 'stretch' gives even greater stability.

the bottom screws may seem slightly loose...this is intentional to stop them binding

the multiple wraps of tape indicating the stick to hold when opening is pronounced so you can feel which stick to hold when using at night.

dont ever be afraid to call if you need any pointers on opening or using the sticks...a quick call will often help with any problems you might have opening them.

Wouldn’t be without mine…tested the rest & find these the best 🫡

Many thanks for that feedback Cornishman it really is appreciated.
ive made all sorts of cradles for the front when I first started making them but they inherently cause an element of instability
being able to close the sticks down to a smaller size is useful but in practice Ive never found it an issue unless you wanted to take a set abroad
ive been snowed under justly with non sticks related problems but back up to speed now.

Superb bits of kit. Now have 3 sets! First ones a long time soft wood. Now have more metal plates than Barry Sheenes legs. Use for air rifle and rimmy. Hardwoods for centre fires.
Would never go shooting without them.
