Yes I know of it, several of my friends have wires, and wasn't wanting to be funny, just commenting on lack if coat/furnishings in the pictures that's all.
Might i ask who else is in there please ?

Wouldn't mind half a nosey at the bitch pedigree, but I'll level with you and say I'm a GSP man through and through, but just love good HPR's of all breeds.

“Woolly” is a breed fault in GWPs, the coat should be tight and wirey
The picture of the father does lack facial furniture so I see where you’re coming from. Occasionally this happens in wires and is fault but doesn’t affect the working!
Trudvang was Chris Grey’s kennel is definitely a good deer working line for GWPs. There used to be illustrations of Chris Grey in the Scottish best practice guidelines which he helped write. His website had some really good information on it but is no longer available

Generally speaking any dogs I've seen from Trudvang or Danish lines tend to be a smaller build/stamp of dogt and less wolly type of Gwp. Still a decent coat thou.
Tend to be a very biddable/trainable line and a bit less head strong than some other lines.
Yet still plenty of 'go' for deer fox or game.
Seen a few of Chris's dogs run at FT and hunt as hard as any as well being g full time deer dogs.

You don't want a wolly GWP as that's not the standard the Danes or Germans seek. On the side of the dog you count a certain number of ribs back and the hair must be a minimum length. The European standard for the beard is you should be able to see a definite beard at a distance of 9 meters standing away from the dog. However, It is classed as a defect if a DD does not have a beard at all, however you can clearly see the beard on the black dog above. The Danish lines are a little smaller than the German DD generally.

Just to add, I think 2? of Chris's dogs were made up to Ftch but also work deer full time
Be very surprised if any other FT dogs work deer never mind actual made up to champions.

OK jokes aside, although the picture of the bitch is a photo of a photo she looks to not have a GWP coat is what I meant, as Shakespeare said, "What’s in a name."
However as another poster also mentioned above the pups really look nice and cared for.

Darrel's bitch is from the last litter Chris bred. If I remember correctly the sire was an import from German lines and the dam was a home bred daughter of Ftch Trudvang Balder (Patch). It was a repeat mating, I had a dog from the original pairing and he was the best all rounder I've owned, absolutely mustard on deer.

I still own a solid liver Trudvang bitch now 12 years old so retired a few years ago. She was a tough hard dog with high pray drive on deer.

But u couldn't get better working beasts .
All worked like trains and no fear what so ever ,and great nature with them .
