Thermal waist coat and gloves

Having become disabled and having to use a scooter to get anywhere, I am finding my hands especially are getting frozen.

Looking for battery gloves and a waist coat to reduce the chill. Even a 4 mph wind chill freezes the b'jeez out of me.

I don't really need huge run times or have to carry a power tool battery....

Any recommendations please. Links would help if possible.

Thanks in advance

I have a brand new waist coat only put on but found sizing was too small more xl than 2xl .
this runs on a power pack .
This will need to be obtained or have a usb adapter on scooter.

One friend has the gilet and the gloves and was warm as toast boar shooting recently. Another pal had the gloves on the hinds on the hill this week and had warm hands (unlike me) in the -8 temperatures so I'm buying the gloves now and gilet before my next boar trip

The gloves have a trigger finger fold back so you don't need to take them off to shoot

There is cheaper options on ebay but I hear mixed reviews on their quality

Shooting would be a definite secondary. I cannot walk so shooting is very limited atm. As secondary use (sniping and rang work) then shooting ability is a fine idea

Hugh Nick. Thanks for the heads up but as a result of my injury/disability, I lost my job as it was 99% counter work and driving. I have had to spend 5.5k to get an automatic car and a scooter and I just want a cheapo option atm. These are nice but not where I want to be. I need to understand how my disability is going to affect me in the future and its too early to say. Happy to spend on kit when I know if its going to be fit for purpose

knock your socks off….. there are loads. I bought one about 4 years ago. Paid about £25. Ignore s,m,l,xl and read the dimensions. Otherwise you will not get one that fits. No dimensions? Look at another make.
you will then need a usb battery, various sizes are available. They are about the size of a 20 cigarette box.

can’t help with heated gloves though. I use fleece gloves. They were the first gloves that kept me warm.

Anybody who knows me will tell you how I moan about the cold. This sorted me.

go for heated collar. Tshirt, then heated jacket, then fleece or puffer jacket over the top. World of difference.

Amazon hmmm thats the place I got mine from for a xxl ? more like fits a racing snake thats just had rice ball for lunch more like it
