Out last night.

Hit one miss one for me last night.

Soon as I arrived, before even in first field see one. Managed to miss when front on to me, so close think my poi was low & shot must have gone in floor right between legs. She took off but heard her several times rest of night.

Head to next field as I go through gateway can see one 250yds away just grubbing about for worms. Nice straight shot but thought I'd give squeak on my hand. Never cease to amaze me how pinpoint they are with the noise. He came flying in, absolutely straight as an arrow right to me. I don't usually shout but had to give this one two "heys" before he finally stopped at 50yds. Mad sure aim slightly higher.

Saw another late on but no real safe shot unless I got on bale stack... By time I got round yard and clamber up them she'd casually ambled off back where I'd come from!! And lost the rubber eye bit off pard007 climbing bales!

There was few shouting all over place, reckon if I'd got my FoxPro fixed by now I'd have got few calling in! 😒

I was out for a couple of hours last night. Stood in a gateway between 2 fields, yes, you know it, I had to be facing the wrong way! The fox was coming round the edge of the field behind me! Rifle off sticks and onto shoulder, picked up sticks and forgot about the 5th leg.........bang as it folds in and hits the others 🤬🤬🤬 last I saw of that one 🤦‍♂️

Time to install @Dr. Strangelove heat shrink!

☹️ missed one last night. All of 70yds , it was laying down, couldn’t make out weather it was up against the sheep netting or on the other side of it. there was a strange impact sound so I think I will blame the fence 😂👍🏻

yep same here no whistle no clanking of metal they work a treat
i used the spare bits on another set 👍

Reticle jumped up with recoil... but this young fella came screaming in to about 20 yards... attempted threading the 75grn vmax through the gate into the vitals without accounting for a lower strike... it was all a bit rushed, as the caller was 100 yards up the field behind him 🤷🏻‍♂️ amazingly the majority of the bullet carried on and killed the fox stone dead! See if brother notices the hole in his gate 😳😂

An easy one tonight!

Rocked up at the top of a big field which slopes down gently for about 500m, quick scan with the thermal showed a few hares dotted around (white blobs that don’t move much!), noticed what I though was a rabbit 50m away and thought nothing else of it.

Did my best scare away any foxes in the parish with my fox call for 5 minutes or so then moved on about 20m, a quick scan with the thermal and the ‘rabbit’ now had a foxes face!

Rifle up on the sticks and the fox was happily back to having a nap, somehow despite my calling, bang and it’s all over.

I’ve just put an Alpex on the 243 and moved the Pard 008 onto the rimfire. I’m very impressed so far, the shot sounds awesome! Haha

Awesome kit.
Is that the field I can see from the chicken sheds? That might be the feller that I missed a couple of weeks if so.
