Hi All
ive had my icotec gc 500 caller for about 18 months, its used once or twice a week through the autumn, winter and spring
the last couple of trips out i found the aerial on the hand set had started to fall to peices on the joints whereit extends
could anyone tell me if this will affect its working distance? i only use it at about 70 yds but dont want to take it pieces in case i brake it compleatly
cheers
Ian

Think I’m on my 3rd aerial,an the one I’m using now has glue an tape on ,never stopped mine from working out to 100y ish 😎

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread, but does anyone know where I can get a replacement arial for the gc500 caller ( not the handset) I have snapped mine on the hinge so it won’t stand up now, still works fine but it’s something that annoys me

Cheers

Id try Rob at Best fox calls or eBay if you can see one that looks the same 👍

Rob of BFC is usually very fast to respond with replacement parts and will even make you a british calls sd if you send him an sd card and SAE.
I bought two aerials from him fairly recently and they were with me by return of post - the kind of service one used to be used to!
