Ive a lovely habicht 6x42 on my steyr .Im chuffed with it but at 150 yards or so it can be hard to pinpoint a shot with any degree of repetition. I got one bullseye in a cm square and three shots about 2 inches off the bull on a new ammo check --plus 3 shots at say 5 inches off to the right spaced about an inch apart .And the usual single flyer.Bit windy gusty but none the less its hard for tight groupings at that range as you all know without a bit more mag.?.Doubt id sell the habicht scope as i do trust it and it has behaved perfectly.80 quid for the picatinny rail of course so not overly expensive if i want to fit 30mm mounts onto the steyr .Whats out there cheap(ish) but good for dusk shooting with an IR .I recall a german make that was well thought of -i think they were for sale up in an Aberdeen shop

Karl Kaps?

i reckon a max of 50 obj would suit the classic model and do the job.Its the newer habicht scope and im guessing its the 1" tube. I see a good few scopes about i can swap into the mounts--its just a question of what scope to pick!!!!!!So many mediocre scopes out there prone to failing
