Online sellers seem to do them in the thousands, but only want a few to try out.

I would stick with blue mini cable ties if you can't get a small number of weasands.

I got two boxes from bushwear in the summer
But I’m not sure if they have them in stock at the moment
Worth giving them a shout

I use large reusable cable ties just remove after use and sterilize/clean and good to use again
Last for ages, might be worth a try if you're struggling to find small quantities of bands there readily available from DIY stores or Amazon
Just remove and take home if doing a field gralloc ie not leaving any plastic in the countryside
