Does anyone here have any red stag mounts in a house with low ceilings, I'm sort of curious on what the general headroom is required to have a stag mount sitting comfortable above the half way point for the wall.
I see posts of Americans hanging there elks and there 1/3rd's down the wall what isn't very appealing in my eyes (But is a must do with space limitation) Obviously red stags are smaller but these same guys are probably dealing with 12-13ft of ceilings versus the 8ft I've likely got to work with.
Surely 8ft and below floor pedestal? assuming this is a large medal stag I realise short and stubby lowland reds might make the cut?
