CIC UKTEB - Annual Rankings 2023

Wouldn't of expected any sika too come from galloway..... where even are they? surely past dumfries I figure.

Only one medal muntjac scored in Surrey , i was expecting quite a few....

I wonder what's the reason behind this.

Still bums me out how many people dont give a crap about medals there was a huge stag in the sheds that never got scored I think a 14 pointer with pretty well developed crowns (for a Ayrshire stag) thing was mental and it sat in a shed untouched for probably nearing a decade at least the plantation it came from is all 7-9ft tall pine now!

It does provide an interesting record regardless of the whole medal side of it, it’s good to see where is producing quality heads, interesting that some years result in more higher scoring animals than others, and interesting to see the ratio of gold/silver/bronze and across different species too.
If two of my red records had been submitted in the same year (both shot within a week of each other but as per your post above one sat in the garage for a year before I had it scored 😖) those two stags would have been 2nd and 4th largest (wild) in that year.

Think it was shot near Peebles.
neat! but yes, that's where I would imagine sika too be.

Unless I'm wrong I dont think there's any sika on the west coast at the moment? It just seems to be red and roe and the very few scattered populations of fallow (e.g @/Gallowaycountrysports ground)
