Page 27 of the FULL Green Party manifesto:

A humane approach to wild and farmed animals The Green Party is fundamentally opposed to all blood sports and would campaign to introduce a ban on all hunting in the first year of a new parliament. This includes trophy hunting, trail hunting, where dogs are used to track foxes, and the commercial shooting of game birds. Government subsidies will no longer be given to maintain artificial landscapes designed only for hunting (such as grouse moors).

And, I ask, why is it ENFIELDSPARES that has noted and posted this and not BASC? Asleep at the wheel or too busy spinning the voluntary ending of use of lead shot? Dangeld by any other name as the Green Party clearly couldn't give tuppence whether we shoot game with lead shot, bismuth shot, steel shot or gold shot inlaid with semi-precious diamante...so much for BASC and the rest bleating and preaching that a voluntary lead ban would somehow better safeguard shooting? Clearly not! Mere Danegeld it is!

Yawn

Yes, "yawn". Because that's always the answer isn't it. Yet what then are folk paying BASC membership for?

It gets better from the Green Party. This on the very next page of their manifesto:

Where necessary for ecological reasons, or for animals described as pests, humane culling will be licensed by Natural England and carried out by trained professionals. Related to this will be the prohibition of firearms and lethal weapons except on registered premises. We will also ban the use of lead ammunition and outlaw all forms of snaring.

Guess BASC didn't see this either since they've not posted about it? Still no doubt worth another "yawn" comment I guess.

Title needs changing to include ban of firearms.

Perhaps BASC realise that the only people daft enough to vote Green are the antis, who are unlikely be swayed by anything BASC says.
Shooters who might listen to BASC suggestions are unlikely to vote Green, so it would be shouting to an empty room.
