First World Stalking Conundrum - Stalking and sunglasses 😎

Thoughts/ advice please. I’m just back off a warm holiday where I’ve been wearing high tint sun glasses all day and yesterday, managed to get out on a stalking outing with a colleague in the very warm and bright conditions. Driving to/from the ground - sunglasses on. Stalking the ground - sunglasses off but with wide brimmed Aussie hat on to give some protection but I found I was having to squint most all of the time due to the bright clear conditions. Thankfully, whilst I have to wear glasses for reading my long sight is good so thermal, binos and scope are all set up to use without glasses. Yesterday was an “on the sticks, off the sticks” sort of day and the last thing I wanted to do was to include the faff of having to deal with removing sunglasses before using the thermal/binoculars or to take a shot.
So, question: does anyone have a simple practical solution to wearing sunglasses when stalking? I seem to recollect there were some flip-up type sun glasses from years ago when fly fishing.
Any suggestions?

no and more no!
Showcasing your arrival wearing a pair of sunlight reflecting sunglasses whilst stalking deer will alert far more deer than without them. I find it hard to believe that there are blokes in this thread that are either wearing dull shades of brown/green or cammo yet wear signal mirrors on their dial.
They do not need to be mirror finish to reflect light to the game and over quite some distances also.

What?Yup - bought 2 pairs. The black are on my cap ready for stalking Friday/Saturday - the mirrors are in my holiday stuff bag for the next cruise.

The black ones will reflect also at quite a distance. Wild deer pick up on these things very quickly.
And stalkers who wear glasses don't have this issue too? I'll see how we get on later this week - knowing the UK weather (and my luck), I'll probably not be needing them then

Yes of course, so much so that my main hunt mate, tossed his glasses and hunts wearing contact lenses now.
Shine is a real problem, especially more so when stalking close, don`t get me started on untaped/unpainted SS barrels
Thats me knackered then cant see without glasses and cant wear contacts not without trying though sako stainless is bead blasted

I was shooting at the range in North Wales on Sunday a glorious day indeed. I looked in the car for my own sunglasses to wear between details. The only sunglasses I could find were the those of the grand kids. They had a highly reflective blue tint and thankfully no attached unicorns 
or sparkles

Apologies - not strictly thread-related but be aware that if using suncream (why wouldn’t you) your sunglasses constant contact with your skin will remove the cream leaving a very sensitive area exposed and unprotected so always wear a cap with a brim wide enough to protect not only your face but importantly your ears too. The very sun-cautious sainted lady FB has just found this out the hard way….
