We only have our own experience in life. I had door bell footage of the crash, found out who it was, saved the damaged parts with his vehicle paint, challenged him and videoed it. No police would even speak to me, didnt want any of the evidence, after a complaint they wrote him a letter, he didnt respond case closed.
I hope i get a call from a copper about work, ill give them a reference number and tell them to call insurance.
Maybe ill be proved wrong, every one involved will be caught and face justice. Or maybe not

Did you contact your insurance to speak to the other parties insurers.

In that case with ring door bell footage assuming it was conclusive and no reason the driver of the other vehicle may not have noticed the impact, large vehicle, slight impact, numerous other reasons.

Without having all the other details I would agree that it has likely not been investigated fully. Hopefully you lodged a complaint.

If you know it so well I’m sure you will understand that when using it to identify cases of hate speech leading to hate incidents and crimes. Then the key element is the perception of others. Perhaps you could assume that others on here may also have some knowledge ? I would not claim to know it inside out, nor any piece of legislation. I have met to many arrogant solicitors that believed they knew something inside out until proven wrong.

Unfortunately you cannot control that perception. And as has been identified by more than one person, your post does indeed come across as discriminatory.

Yes. Derogation means an exemption, usually from a condition , rule or law.
Engaging in a semantic argument, which you've got wrong even on your own terms, is no way to dig yourself out of a hole of your own creation.

Most of the examples of alleged rwcusm you've complained about are nothing of the sort, whereas your own choice of words was far more discriminatory. I'd think it was time to accept that and ideally learn something from it.

Fact being this kind of behaviour that has happened in Leeds is becoming more and more frequent with not so much consequence it seems.
I don't recollect seeing the police turn tail so much when confronted with a crowd during the miners strike 40 years ago.

No, they had the full backing of Mrs Thatcher to go and smash those pesky miners... I think it is too late to "smash" these rioters without much bloodshed and desolation.

Yes and many of the instigators also come from countries where this behaviour is the norm, but their police handle things slightly differently.

Absolutly no experience of police work.
I did respect police but was let down when my truck was hit by another vehicle and the police almost refused to investigate, they wrote the bloke a letter!
I lived with a copper for 20 years, he was and is a narsocistic bully, his mates in the force that i knew where not alot better, one bragged of taking the homeless to the next town, another was kicked out for using weed, two done for kiddy porn about the time of the soham murders.
So no i havent got a great opinion of them and im not shocked others dont.
I have to deal with the police for fire arms and shotgun license, but i would refuse to work for them
