After reading about the zipper going on an Aim gun bag I got to think what I have bought new and is still in use today .
I bought a leather 12 bore cartridge belt back in 1984 when I was 15 and had just got my sg certificate. It’s still in regular use today . Thought I am on the second to last notch on the belt now🤷🏻‍♂️40 years old and still going strong. Unfortunately the owner isn’t looking quite as good .

the .410 Dad was given it in 1934 which is on my sgc.

Like Tim,

I still have the old Belgian DB folding 410 I got in my teens around 70 years ago and it wasn't new then! Also a BSA cadet 177 that was bought new for me when I was about twelve.

My sbs shotgun inherited from my mentor 1895

But the gun i bought as a young lad is circa 40 years old and still used daily

You inherited it in 1895?
Damn, you’re nearly as old as me!
Kb.
Ps. My Win Model 12 x 20 gauge is just over 100 years old.

No no .... i got it a couple of years ago
Its a William Evans and i cant shoot it at all ! My mentor was a little chap and this little gun kicks my backside !

I have a very old .410 that I inherited from my father, but in terms of kit that I've bought new and am still using, I think the pair of canvas gaiters that I bought about 35 years ago are probably the winners.

My grandads spanners and sockets. I also have his cantilever tools box and his trunk from the war.

On the shelf I have grandads best friends binos. I occasionally take them out but they are bulky and heavy by modern standards.

Shooting gear it would be a Webley Vulcan .22 air rifle, must be 42 years ago, I think it was £72 from GL Woods & Son in Norfolk.
