Lantra Wild Game Meat Hygiene Assessment

jh1986 seems no one wants to do a course did make some enquires but the price was to much.
Have you been out much.
Been out three times first and third stalks both got a deer in less than a hour.
Second stalk was a four hour drive e/w for a paid walk.
Do you hear from any of the course

I may now have this course running August or September with BDS
Not sure of the location date or price as of yet (southeast area)

But i need names and why you want this course reason's

(1) Add on to DSC1
(2) A industrial refresher course
(3) Other reason

I have been asked by the trainer for the reason why

So I clicked on the LANTRA link above and put in my postcode as requested.
I live on the Norfolk/Suffolk border 9 miles inland from the North Sea.
It came up with Field Sports Training in Ireland offering a course under Irish law.
Not the most helpful.

I contacted a local company that claimed that they could provide the course some weeks ago and have received no answer at all.
It is not easy.

Not sure if you have went a head with this coarse, but I done it over the weekend and it’s rather straight forward. It’s pretty much the same questions as what’s in your DSC1 assessment.

Did mine with the NGO some years ago it was for LARGE & SMALL GAME, I was issued with a driver licence type card on passing, GAME MEAT HYGIENE COURSE "for large and small game" ID No NGO **** .my name, and Date Attended.
also printed on the back, UK FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY and is trained person in accordance with Regulation 853/2004. (or words to that effect)

Think they may still issue these cards as we was shown one on our course.
But could not see it properly

Card and certificate came today was not the same as the one shown on the course( same as bank cards) but times have changed
Todays card was a peel off from a letter contained all the information but flimsy so had to laminate it.

Ah, those good old eco cards that probably get reprinted Every 5 minutes, or covered in plastic laminate. Absolutely backwards thinking.

So, did the DSC1 (pleased to say successfully) along with the lantra large game meat hygiene course. I've been going round the houses trying on posts on here to find which number to put on tags (if I ever need to) certificate number green, or number at bottom blue?

Thanks, clear as mud as to which that is going to get the DMQ qualification card sometime soon, so will confirm with them what to use.

I was told to use the certificate number in green only. Your DSC1 doesn’t include the necessary qualification anymore and your learner ID is used for all Lantra qualifications…

The card from NGO is a bit taky so what i laminated my card and as stated use the green number at the end . NGO----

Update to my query.
Decided to shell out the £15 for the DMQ qualifications card. Nice proper plastic credit card (no need to buy a laminator) shows DMQ number and DSC1 qualification. BASC number if you're a member (but don't have to be) and trained hunter number, which as said is the certificate number.

Sat my large game and meat hygiene with wessexgame (mike) through NGO and that as trained hunter no. NGO----
a lot cheaper than DSC2 is My DSC1 does not have this

I'm confused regarding the theory and DSC2 comment.
