Pard nv007s- poor man's triggercam?

Assuming use of a suitable side focusing scope to achieve a clear sight picture, is there anyone out there using any of the nv007 variants as a means of capturing daytime footage of their shots?

Looking at my nv007s, I feel that it's possible, but interested in the experience of other members, particularly the scopes they're using. Basically, I can't justify a triggercam and wondering if the pard can be pressed into service in this role!

They will record your shots fine and clear
Go on youtube
Sure there will be loads of videos on there of recorded shot etc
And any Hawke scope works well with the pard
But a side focus is a must
I use a sidewinder 4-16x50
And it works perfect
And I also your a PBIR IR with it as it’s a lot better and clearer than the onboard IR

Couldn’t see the videos

I’ve tried to record on my 007 didn’t push the button firmly enough, then when I did get it to record I left the safety on, next one the rifle moved on the sticks, FFS so far I’ve had a long line of disasters I might just put it on record then work out how to edit a looooong video 🥹

That’s odd - they are still there - I have just played them (from June).
The ability to factor in the pushing of the record button in the sequence of actions prior to actually shooting a fox is a God-given skill, sought by many but granted to few. One of the reasons I upgraded to the Zulus was the automatic recording function (RAV) only to discover that the recoil of the triple deuce isn’t enough to activate the sodding thing!

I'm pretty sure there's a recoil record option in the pard007s? Not sure on older or newer models...should be in the menu in auto record IIRC

You should be able to see in the view finder if it's started recording. Granted I have to look for it as it generally isn't that easy to see.
