After my slightly ranty post about CCI BR4s I think I’ve found the problem I was having with getting them to fire - there’s a bit missing from my Sako’s bolt.
I have no idea what it’s called, but it’s the tubular piece of alloy that sits between the firing pin spring and bolt shroud.
I only noticed as I stripped one of my other Sako bolts and noticed it was different, so then did the other 2!
The piece that’s missing is the one second from top in the below photo. I think I can buy an entirely new firing pin assembly from GMK but I’m expecting a stupid price and ridiculous wait time, so thought I’d see if there’s one going about.
