Tyson Vs. Paul

Somehow this has passed me by (probably because it's a load of nonsense! 14oz gloves??) but I'll still watch 😂

Anyone having a flutter??

I have never seen another boxer with as much fury and raw power as a young Mike Tyson, he just wanted to annihilate every opponent from the very first bell.

Jake Paul wouldn’t survive the first clash with that young fighter, let alone the first round, but now he’s got 30+ years on Tyson. I still believe that if Tyson can land a punch early on then Paul is in deeper than he thinks, but beyond three rounds it’s only going to go one way.

However I would love to see Iron Mike kick that t***s a*se around the ring.

At 58, it's hard to tell how much of the young Mike Tyson is still there. I guess if he wasn't somewhere near fit enough he wouldn't be doing this. But let's face it, Tyson has made some wrong decisions before in his life. I'm not sure what Jake Paul's up side to this is. If he loses, then he's been beaten by a 58 year old man. If he wins, what's good about beating a 58 year old man? Except money, of course. I, like others on here think that, at the very least, Tyson will have retained most of his devastating punching ability and if he gets a good one or two in, Paul won't cope. But Tyson won't be that quick around the ring and he won't be able to pounce in to throw those punches like yesteryear.

In many ways, Tyson is a flawed person and has done some despicable things in his life. But strangely, I hope he wins. Go figure.

Paul will stop him. Either because of a dive or just the fact he’s a million years old all he has to do is survive the first 45 seconds 😂.

Must admit i think the fight is an absolute disgrace.
Who TF is jake paul anyway?
Some internet hero.

I just cant understand why anyone would give him the time of day.
How a chancer like this can even be mentioned in the same breath as a true legend like Tyson.

Wot incentive is there for geniune talented kids to work there way up the ranks gradually, when a nupmty like this can get big money fights without doing the hard work working up to them.

How the boxing authorities have approved it either.
Just bonkers.
And never mind the betting money aspect.
How is it legal to bet on this fight??
( im assuming u can bet on it)
No one knows the contracts, being widely touted Tysons is dependent on how many rounds he does and loses money if he knocks him out.
Just not fair to punters.
Just so open to fixing, many also believe Tyson been paid to take a dive. ( mibbee unrhinkable in his prime but at almost 60 an extra big bag of cash. )

They will both be winners as soon as the bell rings but instead of "ring ring" it will sound more like "ka-ching ka-ching". As a fan of Tyson, both young and old, I personally would love to see Paul take a beating. Much as I hate to say it though, Paul is no slouch. He has put in years of time and training and just needs to stay out reach until Tyson is winded. This is not an endorsement of Paul however as I've never viewed him as an especially talented fighter. My money is on Tyson even if its a fool's bet.

My daughter's boyfriend is fighting in jockey's boxing tonight, I quoted Mike's line "everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face" and general advice was go hard early and rely on your fitness to carry the third round.....

By coincidence this just got sent to me. Regimintal boxing hero at Old Trafford today for
Rememberance….go on: name, nickname, weight and regiment? Was world champion.

My heart says Tyson, head says Paul.

Have many of you seen JP fight before? I haven't, but a fella who's opinion I respect, tells me if you look past all the glitz & shité he actually puts in a shift most fights. Don't underestimate just because of his ridiculous background.
