Collection of Roe skulls to sell - help needed

Hi All,

Bit of a strange one but figured you might all be able to help out. A stalker up this way in Angus (Peter Keyser - used to do a lot of stalking) passed away last year and his widow was left with his collection of roe heads that he had mounted all over the study. His children have taken the ones that they like (including the 2 gold medal bucks) but I was asked by a friend of the widow if I could help raise some funds for her by selling the remaining heads.

Having taken them all down yesterday and sorted through them, I have got:

27 medal weight heads (>450g) including 2 that are scored as bronze medals from the 1980's
7 malform heads including one that is 585g
7 regular heads, some quite attractive.

There's a mix of cut and intact skulls.

I'd like to raise a good bit of money for her and was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a dealer who would be interested in the malforms, for sale to the continent I imagine

As well as if anyone had any ideas as to where might be good to sell the medal heads.

I sold a range of cleaned unmounted Roe heads last year which included bog standard cull stuff, some malforms and some medal stuff-bronze and silver.

As a job lot they went for around £15 each.

That’s probably the bottom line - as a guide, loose Roe antler will be in the region of £30/kg.
