Advice on Day Night vision scopes for a 270 rifle

I am in similar situation as I can ambush deer in my permissions only first and last 30 mins of the legal light and I use Alpex 4K which makes massive difference. Its last light performance is better than my Zeiss V8 and Swarovski Z8 however I will never use in place of regular glass as it’s heavy and its day time performance nowhere near regular glass. I have QD system and switch the scopes for the each different situation.
I use it on .308 Win and I have never had any issue.

The level of image detail needed to identify a target and make a decision on whether or not to shoot is the same in daylight as in low light and darkness
If your Alpex 4k is good enough to do that in low light, why is it not good enough to use in full daylight?
I agree that any half decent glass scope will produce a higher resolution image than even the best digital scope, but the fact is that scopes like the Alpex 4k can produce a daylight image which has more than enough resolution to identify and safely shoot a deer sized target at the ranges typical in this country

Cheers

I am not saying it’s not adequate for day but I have high quality glass with qd mounts so switch scopes on same rifle for better view and lighter set-up. I know it’s rare in the UK but in sunny days it’s impossible to see through Alpex 4K because of the glare.
